A small difference in wax, a big difference in experience
The Air You Breathe
Paraffin candles are made from petroleum. When they burn, they release tiny particles and compounds that are not ideal for enclosed spaces. Natural waxes burn cleaner, with less smoke and soot.
How They Burn
Natural wax candles burn slower and more evenly. This means longer-lasting candles and a more stable flame, without nervous flickering and black smoke.
Scent
Natural waxes have a mild, natural scent or are completely neutral. Many industrially produced candles use synthetic fragrances. More sensitive individuals may find that such scents do not suit them or cause discomfort.
Sustainability
Soy and sunflower wax are derived from plants, beeswax is a byproduct of beekeeping, while paraffin is produced from fossil fuels. If the origin of the materials you bring into your home is important to you, natural waxes are often the first choice.
